Bottling Brit Pack!

Our 5th day of bottling in 4 months saw the first Brit Pack stickers going on to bottles of our Coquille d’Oc white wine.  This wine with its additional sticker will be leaving the Domaine next week destined for Waitrose shops across the UK.

So, Brit Pack, what is this all about?

The Brit Pack is made up of 4 British families who moved to the south of France to become wine producers.  Along with us at Sainte Rose, the members are James & Catherine Kinglake of Domaine Begude, Stephen Cronk of Mirabeau Wine and Robert Eden of Chateau Maris.  A dedicated website is under development and should be up and running in May.

A passion for wine brought each of us to the south of France.  But we all came with a very different perspective, which we believe is what sets us apart. This allows us to combine the best of both worlds by combining a British perspective on wine with the heritage of winemaking in France.

We know that in order to succeed in a highly competitive global market we need to be innovative and dynamic in terms of viticulture, winemaking and marketing.

We are all rising to the challenge and have come together as a group to promote our common goals as members of the Brit Pack.  The Brit Pack wines are available at Waitrose and on WaitroseDirect.
